How do I find out what insurance companies certain businesses have?

I want to find out what insurance companies certain businesses have such as U-Haul, Enterprise car rental etc. Do they insure through Progressive, State Farm, Allstate, etc. I need to know for a business idea I have. It might sound weird but it is a need to know question.

    A lot of the bigger carriers are “self insured” up to a certain retention level, and then have a “umbrella” for MAJOR damages.

    Stop by your local Enterprise Rental place and ASK them - they’ll tell you or look in their glove box. Some have stickers on the back driver side window.

    If your “business idea” can make money……..it’s probably already been tried and disgarded.
