I will be getting taken off of my parents excellent insurance plans in November I believe. My fiance and I havent even started looking around for other companies. We wanted to know what are some good insurance companies for families (of 3) in Michigan.

before you start checking around for private insurance companies. first check with his or your employer. insurance through your work usually the employer will pay half or most of the monthy premiums. if you go with one of the major insurance companies i would recommed, blue cross/blue shield, aetna, cigna, united healthcare, pacificare. you will have little to no trouble finding doctors that take this major insurances. if you go with a smaller local insurance company you may be really restricted which doctors, hospitals, and labs you can go to. all insurances are similar, but they do offer different coverages, premiums, plans, co-pays, deductibles, hmos, ppos, and different life time coverage amounts. so shop around but check with your employers first. good luck hope that helped.
